What’s New in Buckhead
One of Atlanta’s most vibrant neighborhoods, Buckhead is known for its posh culture scene, including dining, nightlife and wellness. It’s no surprise that luxury condos in Buckhead are in high demand, given that most have easy access to unique experiences, chef-driven restaurants and world-class shopping. Here’s what’s new in Buckhead this month.
Dancing Goats Coffee Bar is planning its fourth metro Atlanta location at The Exchange, a newly-renovated shopping center on Peachtree Road and Grandview Avenue. The new shop will specialize in exceptional espresso beverages, locally-made doughnuts and will feature a manual brew bar showcasing single origin coffees.
Taverna is the latest restaurant to open at the Shops Buckhead Atlanta. The restaurant serves a variety of Italian fare, focusing on risotto and offers an impressive collection of spirits and wines. The space is designed to have a rustic, cozy feel, with lots of light and dark wood.
The Buckhead Community Improvement District unveiled a new 12-foot-tall abstract sculpture anchoring the renovated Charlie Loudermilk Park at the heart of Buckhead Village. The sculpture, designed by John Portman, will have a water feature to reflect the piece. The piece is meant to symbolize Buckhead’s past and future success.
