Summer Luxury Design Trend Roundup

The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta are at the forefront of luxury design trends in high-rise living. Below are luxury trends approved by the industry’s top publications and how they are incorporated at The Residences.

Freestanding Statement Tubs

Freestanding sculptural bathtubs have become a master bathroom must-have for luxury homebuyers. The National Kitchen and Bath Association conducted a survey that verified this trend stating that approximately 60 percent of members surveyed expect to specify more freestanding tubs in 2017. We love this freestanding soaking tub by Kallista, made even more dreamy with gorgeous city views.

Kitchens Designed for Entertaining

Kitchens continue to be a focal point in luxury homes this year. The high-end kitchen spaces found in luxury homes focus on the finest materials and finishes and boast sleek commercial-grade appliances and The Residences are no exception. With large islands and state-of-the-art Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, our kitchens are perfect for a formal, catered dinner party or simple wine and cheese night with family.

Black is Back

Black has never, and most likely will never, go out of style. Luxury designers strategically use black to add drama to a room. And when paired with pops of white, red, or gold, it has a beautifully polished look, like this designer model at The Residences.
