Classic Brand, Modern Design

The Mandarin Oriental name may be classic, but the hotels and residences offer a high-end, modern and sleek design. In Atlanta, few luxury condo properties offer contemporary features like The Residences at Mandarin Oriental. Luxury properties used to be synonymous with a traditional and formal look, but today’s discerning buyers prefer chic, cutting-edge design.

Buckhead’s top architectural firm Harrison Design designed the new units to be a counterpoint to the classic imagery of the building. The contemporary, ultra high-end finishes and sleek, built-in fireplaces with marble surrounds lend themselves to an ultra high-end design. Additional modern  design elements such as simple trim with crisp reveal detail and no crown molding create a polished look that offers condominium living at its finest. Harrison Design also incorporates mitered corners on stone counter waterfalls, slab front doors and drawers on the painted cabinetry, and sleeker, cleaner lined plumbing fixtures and accessories.

Keep Your Kitchen

Today’s luxury condo buyers may be looking to downsize and rid themselves of pesky home maintenance, but if there’s one thing they’re not willing to compromise on, it’s the size and quality of their kitchens — the real heart of the home. This trend is just one reason why discerning buyers are falling in love with The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta, one of the few luxury condominium buildings in the nation featuring kitchens comparable in size and quality to those many former homeowners designed themselves in the houses they just sold.

Kitchens at The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta range in size from 257 to 488 square feet, and are drawing a lot of attention not just for their size, but for their exclusive design and features. These include large, hidden, walk-in pantries; Miele, Wolf, or Sub-Zero appliances; gas cooking ranges (rarely found in high-rise buildings); quartz or quartzite countertops; and outdoor terraces with Viking or Wolf grills.

Finished models offer palettes in warm, cool and transitional tones, and select models also offer fully customizable raw space. Full- and half-floor residences start at $2 million.
