What’s New in Buckhead
One of Atlanta’s most vibrant neighborhoods, Buckhead is known for its posh culture scene, including dining, nightlife and wellness. It’s no surprise that luxury condos in Buckhead are in high demand, given that most have easy access to unique experiences, chef-driven restaurants and world-class shopping. Here’s what’s new in Buckhead this month.
A new park, indented to create a multitude of connections along Peachtree and Lenox Road, is in the works. Spanning a total of nine acres over the GA400 freeway and through MARTA’s Buckhead station this new greenspace is meant to be a “highly centralized, highly attractive, property-value-boosting space in the heart of commercial Buckhead.”
Lenox Square mall plans to add a mix of nine permanent and temporary shops this spring and summer. Coming soon, local shoppers can expect to see an Amazon pop-up shop, Sweet Hut Bakery & Café and three casual men’s apparel brands, UNTUCKit, Elk Head Clothing and Hammer Made. Crafted and The Merchant, both novelty shops, have also recently opened at Lenox. Finally, mall-goers can expect to see some familiar stores relocate including footwear retailer, Standard and denim retailer, G-Star RAW.
This spring, Buckhead will welcome two new fitness concepts, Highland Yoga and F45 Training. Highland Yoga studio, offers a unique hot yoga option that includes “vigorous power Vinyasa, creative movement and mindfulness practices.” F45 Training, claimed as the fastest-growing group fitness training network in the world, will debut its first Georgia location in May at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta.
