One of Atlanta’s most vibrant neighborhoods, Buckhead is known for its posh culture scene, including dining, nightlife and wellness. It’s no surprise that luxury condos in Buckhead are in high demand, given that most have easy access to unique experiences, chef-driven restaurants and world-class shopping. Here’s what’s new in Buckhead this month.
Rolled ice cream shop rolls into town
Sweet Charlie’s, a rolled ice cream shop, is setting up shop in Buckhead this spring. Sweet Charlie’s offers ice cream, yogurt or a vegan option, Nada-Moo. Ice cream is made-to-order on a sub-20-degree surface where customers can choose a cup or glazed doughnut as a carrying container. Customers can then choose from a wide variety of toppings. The Philadelphia-based rolled ice cream and yogurt shop will be located off Roswell Road next to Superica.
Second Sephora to open
The beauty and cosmetic chain, Sephora, is set to open its second Buckhead location early this summer. The newly renovated shopping center in vibrant Buckhead Village, The Exchange, will house the 4,800 square foot outpost of the popular stop for make-up addicts, providing a shopping option other than at Lenox Square.
Two new fitness opportunities on Peachtree
Soon, fitness fiends will have two new boutique fitness options just down the road from The Residences: Club Pilates and Infinity Yoga.
The Peachtree Battle Shopping Center is home to Buckhead’s newest fitness studio, Club Pilates. The Pilates chain will host their grand opening weekend Feb. 25-26 and will offer free demonstrations, merchandise giveaways, discounts and serve healthy refreshments.
Infinity Yoga’s third Atlanta studio will arrive in Buckhead next week, and the yogis are offering free classes to welcome new students. Infinity is a yoga option for everyone, and in addition to traditional vinyasa flow they have special classes for runners and other athletes to help them stretch and recover.
