Debuting Our New Website

Living Rooms in the Luxury Condos in Atlanta GA of the Mandarin Oriental Residences Atlanta.

As we prepare to release the final collection of luxury homes at The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta, we’re thrilled to debut our new website. We worked with a New York-based design firm to create it to showcase our beautiful homes and the one-of-a-kind lifestyle The Residences offer. It is truly a one-stop shop for those looking to purchase a high-end condo in Buckhead.

For potential buyers, the website is a wonderful place to begin to learn about life at the top. Without actually visiting the property, prospective buyers can view photos of gorgeously decorated spaces, download floor plans of available homes, learn more about the services our private residential concierge can offer and, of course, quickly contact exclusive listing broker Karen Rodriguez to arrange to view a home. The website can also be translated into Mandarin to benefit international buyers, and features virtual 3D tours using Matterport technology of both the homes and hotel amenities.

“In marketing The Residences, it’s important for us reach a global audience that wants to find a home on the go,” said Rodriguez. “With our sleek new website, jetsetting buyers are able to browse floorplans, take virtual tours, learn about the lifestyle at The Residences and contact us on any of their devices.”

The full-floor residences at Mandarin Oriental offer a blank slate full of potential for buyers, who often enlist A-list interior designers to create their perfect home. Acclaimed designer Barbara Westbrook was tasked with crafting rooms that complement the sweeping, 360-degree views in one of these penthouse-style condos. Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles chose to feature the stunning finished home on the cover of their October issue, showcasing each expertly-outfitted room.

Highlights of the home include the breakfast nook that takes full advantage of the views, a formal dining room with watercolor art and an ethereal master suite. Westbrook sought to bring “comfortable luxury” with a touch of glamour and plenty of local art to the space.

The Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta is at the forefront of trends and technology in luxury high-rise living. Below are links to three noteworthy real estate stories that caught our eye recently.

Sleek Italian Kitchens Cross the Pond by Amy Gamerman of The Wall Street Journal.

Excerpt:

“For some high-end buyers, a sexy kitchen provides an element of fantasy—like an Italian sports car parked in the driveway—that can seal the deal on a multimillion-dollar property. ‘It’s selling a vision of a certain lifestyle that’s clean and modern,’ said Gidi Cohen, a Los Angeles developer who gave one Sunset Strip manse a slick Pedini kitchen makeover before listing it for $16.5 million (and selling it for an undisclosed amount last year). “Whoever sees this kitchen wants to start taking cooking classes.’

A $350,000 Luxury Condo … For Your Car by Kathryn Vasel of CNN Money.

Excerpt:

“There’s a luxury condo building planned for Miami that will offer 24-hour security, climate-controlled units, a members-only social club and concierge services. But you won’t be able to live in the building. Only your car can.”

Enjoy High-End Amenities Years Before Moving In at These Luxury Residences by Kathryn Hopkins of Mansion Global.

Excerpt:

“In the past, developers showed buyers what their lifestyles could be like if they purchased one of these luxury condos through videos and brochures, but now they are showcasing it through actual experiences.”

The Penthouse at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta Featured on House Envy

unspecified

Atlanta Magazine’s House Envy blog covers the most fabulous homes throughout the region, so it’s no surprise that the stunning penthouse at The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta was featured last week. The magazine spoke with Robert Tretsch, the mastermind behind the proposed plan for the 10,000-square-foot home to discuss his design vision.

Tretsch’s floorplan reflects the luxury lifestyle of its prospective owners and includes a library, music room, fitness room, gourmet kitchen, keeping room, catering kitchen, and two balconies. He envisions a staff bedroom on the first floor and three guest rooms and a master bedroom upstairs, as well as upper and lower lounges. The two levels will be connected by a sweeping curvilinear staircase.

The master bedroom will feature two large closets, and the master bath will have an enormous shower with two shower heads. The spa, which will incorporate a sauna, steam bath, and soaking tub, will have floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountains of North Georgia. In fact, almost every room will come with a breathtaking view.
